Ok obviously your completely wrong because paacal is a red otter that stands on the shore of the beach.
Guest answered:

You msut buy the red turnip from joan on whatever sunday she comes, burry it next saturday, water it EVERYDAY even the day you planted it or it will die, then dig it up NEXT saturday, (if you do not burry it for the needed tiem it will be small and wimply pathetic, so wendell gives yo ua guitar that you give to Mr. Kk sldier for his autopgraphed picture.) give it to wendall when he comes, keep it in your pocket UNTIL Wendall comes or it will go bad. The fat blue walrus wendall the ngives you a turban, give it to the saharah chick, she gives you a massage chair. Next time tortimer come out on a holiday, Fishing, bug catching tournements, fireworks, hallowen or any holidy. (NOTE: you can actually re-buy the massage chair from top nook for 2,400 bells, so if you have 4 characters you uses (like me) the nyo ucna give them all a massage chair, trade it to tortimer for a scallop, then wait for the otter pascal to arrive then give him the scallop for the godlen axe. Or if you want three of your characters to have the axe and you want his picture select the "uh what..?" option instead of the golden or silver axe. (The silver axe is a shitter version of the golden one, still valuable and a rare item though.) Anyways select the "uh what...?: option to get pascals picture. Pascal appears soemwhere o nthe ocean shore not by the water fall and is not a rabbit or a rainbow tailed crown wearing freak in-fact pascal is a sea-otter and looks like a logger.

The alternative pursuit for rare iteams are if saharah gives you a red vase, you give it to Mr. Redd, if you talked to lyle yo ucna pic whatever day he comes to your town if not wait for him to appear again. When the sly fox arrives give him the red vase for a safe (pretty cool huh? A safe.) then give it to Mr. Nook for hsi picture. Then your long journey for items is done.
