A shark

Whenever I try to catch a shark it gets away because it bites for only a split second. If you know how to catch a shark please tell me

What I find tends to help me when Fishing is to put my ear to the speaker, and have my thumb constantly on the 'A' button. Do not look at the screen, it will distract you. When you hear the 'splosh'ing noise, press the 'A' button the split second your brain registers it.

This works all the time with regular fish, and sometimes with sharks, too.

Yea, They are really fast. You gotta keep your finger on the A button and be ready for it. It might even take practice too.

I caught a hamerhead shark and I a regular but it just takes good reflexes

You have to be patient when you want to catch a shark, but if you hit the waters edge with a net to scare the smaller fish away it helps alot, wait for about 5-10 minutes, if nothing happens you should try again, it's often tricky to catch a shark as they only bite for a split second, so I find it easier to just listen for a noise rather than a visual attempt and also remember they are only available during summer months(june-september) and are found in the ocean at around 9pm-4am
