Different Starters

Once you defeat Red, the Champion Trainer, yiu can get Hoenn and Kanto starters.

Kanto - After defeating Red, go to Pallet Town and enter Oak's Lab. He will give you a starter.

Hoenn - Once you defeat Red, Fly to Saffron City and enter Silph Co. building. There'll be a man in there. He's Steven, the Champion in Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald!

Talk to him and he'll say Green, Red or Blue Stone? Pick it depending on type! Grass, Fire or Water!

These are my reccommendations:

Meganium, Blaziken, Blastoise

Feraligatr, Charizard, Sceptile

Typhlosion, Venusaur, Swampert
