OK I know some of you didnt choose this pokemon at the begining and some of you did and probaaly some of you havent started yet but there Is one good starter pokemon that is strong and you need that one is Totodile because your rival will pick a grass type and around Lv.25 it can learn Ice Fang and wich is super effective against grass and it can learn dark type move to take out either ghost/phsyic types and the Elite four should not be a problem If you still keep Ice fang and Dark type moves and some water type moves because Lance Is the Champion and he is a Dragon Type Trainer and almost all of his pokemon are weak against Ice Type attacks except for Gyrados and Charizard so take out Chrizard with a water type attack that you tought it I would Prefer Surf because It has a 100% accuracy and Its more than likely going to be a 1 hit K-O and for Gyrados use an Electric Type because It is a Water/Flying type Pokemon so try your best to catch Raikou and ho-oh will be helpful against I cant remember his name I think its Bruno and use a flying type attack aginst his fighting pokemon and you should be ready for the Elite Four If you took my advice
