The Dada Killer

The Dada Killer is the first chapter of the third part of Murder in the Alps, and the ninth chapter overall. It is the biggest chapter yet in the series. You play as the protagonist, Anna Myers, who tries to solve a series of murders while trying to uncover the chaos of her life, and the mystery of the Swiss Roaring 20's ideology: Dadaism.

Mini Game - How to Unlock the Backyard Gate with the Lockpicks

In order to enter Vanessa's house via the backyard you need to use lockpicks to open the gate. This involves turning two lockpicks in specific directions, so the keyhole turns to a certain position. When you begin the mini game the keyhole is in a vertical position, and to unlock the gate you need to rotate it five times anti-clockwise until the keyhole is in a parallel position. You will find the lockpicks in the glove compartment of Anna's car.

Mini Game - How to Open the Junction Box

The telephone in Vanessa's house has no dialing tone and in order to fix it Anna must open the cover of the junction box outside the house. The policeman standing outside the house will give Anna a Swiss Army knife which will have a screwdriver. To solve the puzzle you must unscrew the bolts in the following order:

1) Top left anti-clockwise

2) Top right anti-clockwise

3) Bottom left anti-clockwise

4) Bottom right anti-clockwise

Once you have unscrewed the lid of the junction box Anna will discover that the wires have been cut on purpose and need to connected with adhesive tape.

Mini Game - How to Fix the Film Projector

After flipping the switch of the film projector it falls apart, to solve this puzzle you need to put all the pieces back so it is operational. To do this you need to:

1) Place the big wheel on the top left of the projector.

2) Place the wheel with the big triangle facing up underneath the big wheel on the left.

3) Place the wheel with the small triangle facing down underneath the big wheel on the right.

4) Place the wheel with the circle underneath the wheel with the big triangle.

5) Place the wheel that has the circle and three additional smaller circles around it underneath the wheel with the small triangle on the right.

6) Place the reel onto the projector and pull the red handle down to complete the puzzle.

Anna has a damaged fingerprint from the typewriter which she needs to compare to the fingerprints the police have on file. You will find the fingerprint kit by opening the right door of the cupboard that is on the left of the forensic lab. Following is the solution to the puzzle.

In order to figure out the solution for the arrangement of the books in the old judges house you have to think Tetris, except the books only fit one way. The thin horizontal book goes on top several short, vertical books. There is a thin red book on the far right hand side of the screen that is barely visible. It needs to be added to the book pile.
