Full Review for Monster Hunter by Subleme

Introduction

This game is mainly about you creating a player on the game. You then have to adventure around doing quests for the town. You are able to encounter new monsters every quest and they will give you new items, materials, to allow you to upgrade or make new weapons, or armor. You are able to go around and face fierce beasts and kill them, or collect items for a quest.

This game also has an online play where you are allowed to play with people around the world and form parties to go on adventures to slay huge beasts. There are no levels on this game, all you do is go on quests and it only relys on your weapons and armor on how well you will do against your opponent.

You are able to collect items and food and supplies in order to aid you in your quests. You can make pitfall traps, paint balls to track where the monsters are. There are also different areas you are able to go to. You can go to deserts, jungles, swamps, and green plains, mountains and more to conquer monsters and complete your monsters. The game is very good with it's battles, graphics and monsters. There is so much that you are able to do in this game and it is worth purchasing if you like these sort of games. I highly recommend the game to all people. It does not get boring easily and you can always go and re-do missions and quests over and over again to get new items to level up your weapons and armor.

Graphics

I have given this game a 10 out of 10 for graphics. The game has amazing graphics. This not only goes for the monsters though it goes for weapons, armor and the landscapes. There are amazing in depth detail and designs on your armor and weapons that gives them a good look.

The monsters also have very good graphics. They don't have attacks like flamethrowers and everything, but with their physical abilities such as flying throughout the land and running to attack you, the game has very well detailed areas. The landscapes are also very good. You are able to see cracks and rocks in mountains, you can see the grass blowing in the wind, and the bark on trees.

The creators of this game have gone far beyond what they wanted to do in the graphics department of this game. The game is full of outstanding graphics to weapons and armor to the blades of grass that scatter the great plains of the game. The game is very good and I highly recommend purchasing it if you like good battles and good graphics to boot.

Sound

Well to put it short and simply there really isn't much sound to the game. There is some music while you are just taking a stroll throughout your town, whether you are on online play or you are just playing by yourself. There is sound to the game also, though it is really only when you are in battle. They have multiple sound changes depending on where you are in a level or if you are encountering monsters. This section is usually the shortest in every review because it is hard to make a long paragraph all about sound. Though I am going to try to give you a well detailed review of the sound in the following paragraph.

The sound to the game, when your sword hits your target produces sound and it matches up with your movements well.

You are able to produce sound by running around the level. They have added sound features so that when you are running around you can hear your sword clanking against your armor and your armor rubbing together and your steel folds flapping up and down as you run through a level.

Gameplay

The game play is very unique and I will try to give you every little detail to explain how the game play is.

Battle Gaming,

Now on some games your battles are in turns such as pokemon. You will attack and then your opponent will attack. Then you and then him and so on.

The battle on this game allows you to take a few swings, move around and take a few more swings with your great sword. You are able to run around and attack whenever you feel like. You are not forced to attack him and you are able to run away whenever you feel that it is necessary. All you have to do is run into the next zone and you will then be leaving from battle. If you go back into that zone, then there is a chance the monsters will still be there, or there is also a possibility that the zone you just exited will have trhe same monsters.

Now we are onto the adventures and quests.

The quests are not that hard. All you do is go through the town and talk to the old man who is in front of his house. He will have different ranked missions that you get to pick. Pick whichever stared category that fits you. If you are new to the game then go for the one or two star adventures. Now after you select the rank of your adventure, you now have to choose the individual quest that you will set off to do.

In the star categories there will be more display windows where you will have the possibility to choose which adventure you wish to set off on. This can very from gathering wayvern eggs to having to kill boars.

After you have cleared out the the star missions, you only have to complete 4 out of the 5 total quests. There will be an urgent mission that will open up. You must complete this urgent quest in order to unlock the next star category. The urgent mission is usually killing a strong monster, such as killing the velocidrome. The main boss of the volocirapters. He is hard unless you have the proper equipment. When you get to the urgent mission you are still able to keep and re-do the previous adventures in order to gain more items and to upgrade your armor and weapons so that killing the beast in the urgent mission will be easier.

Lastability

This game is a very fun game. Though the lastability of the game varies through players depending on what you think of it. I will explain more in depth below in two sections.

If you like Adventure Games,

Now if you enjoy playing adventure games and going around on quests to slay huge beasts and getting items to get yourself better prepared for battle by upgrading your weapons and your armor. This game will last very long if you enjoy all of the key aspects to an action adventure game. Otherwise you may not like this game and you will put down your controller often.

If you don't like adventure games,

Now if you are more into sports like hockey, football, baseball or maybe you prefer racing games like Nascar 08 or something like that, well then this game is not really for you. You will find yourself turning off the Playstation console and putting down the controller often if you don't like action adventure games very much and if you don't appreciate going on vast adventures throughout the lands to see new monsters and collect new items.

Overall

For this game I am going to give the game a 10 out of 10. This game has very good graphics and adventure areas to the game. The game is very fun with you being able to travel throughout the game and you are able to kill monsters on your way to get some items. The game also provides good sounds and very good story lines to the adventures.

This game has been rated highly from actual gaming people who do this for a living. So if you don't take me for my word then you can always listen to them. That game is full of adventure and it's hard to get bored with it, unless you don't like adventure and battle scenes with exotic enemies.

The game has an amazing online play. To go on an adventure with four other people and to then go and kill a rathalos, usually you wouldn't stand a chance if you were the only one. There is excitement everywhere when you have slayed one of these monsters.

This game is very fun and has outstanding qualities to it all around. I highly recommend you going out an purchasing this game and also it is worth playing it online. Except I am not sure how many people still play this online. I think more people might play Monster Hunter Freedom and Monster Hunter Freedom 2.

This game has a very good game play to it, the battles are very fun and they don't get boring easily. Without the turn based battle phases, it makes the game much more fun then many other games. This game does not go boring very often. The battles and adventures keep the game going.
