When was Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate launched?

You can select a quest in the Hunters Hub by talking to the Wycademy Gal near the north exit.

How do you get the Map?

At the camp when you start a quest you will be able open a chest to grab a few free items, one of which will be the map.

How can you Boost your Stats?

Eating a meal before each quest will boost your stats and give special effects.

How do you Increase your Hunter Rank?

Talk to the Guild Manager at the center of the Hunters Hub who will offer you a special quest to increase your Hunter Rank or HR.

How do you Track Monsters?

To keep track of a monster on the map you need to throw a paintball at it.

How do you get Paintballs?

You can craft paintballs with a paintberry and a sap plant. You can also get them from the chest in camp when you start a quest.

How do you Craft Better Gear?

When you kill a monster you can carve it for monster parts which you can then take to a smithy to craft better gear.

How do you Upgrade Weapons?

When you successfully capture or kill a monster you will be given rewards that can be used to craft stronger weapons, tools, and armour.

How do you Capture a Monster?

To capture a monster you must weaken it by throwing tranquiliser bombs at it and then use a trap.

Where do you get Tranquiliser Bombs and Traps?

When you do a quest that requires you to capture a monster you will be given some of these items for free.

How do you Hunt 'Deviant' Monsters?

Talk to the courier next to your house or talk to Neko at the Palico Ranch who will give you special permits to hunt 'deviant' monsters.

What is Prowler Mode?

This new feature enables you to become a Felyne and play as the cat-like creatures during a hunt.

How can you gather Resources easily?

Return to the Palico Ranch and swap out your hunter for a palico and play in Prowler mode. In this mode you will not need nets or pickaxes to gather.

Where can I get a Palico?

You can recruit a palico at the Palico Ranch in Bherna Village.

What do you do with the 'Scraps' from Crafting Armour and Weapons?

'Scraps' can be used to craft new armour for your palico at the palico armoury which can be found next to the smithy.

Can I Play Co-Op with Others?

You can team up with up to three others and play co-op via a local wireless connection, or online.
