New Monsters
Although there are 93 large monsters making it the most of any game in the Monster Hunter franchise only two of them are truly new monsters. There are however several never before seen deviant monsters which are monsters that have previously survived an encounter with a hunter only to emerge from the battle mutated in some way.

Valstrax
Valtrax is sometimes called the Silver Wing of the Evil Star or Sky Comet Dragon and is an Elder Dragon that is covered in gleaming silver scales that flies at high speed by discharging Dragon Element energy from its wings. This monster prefers to roam high up in the skies beyond the reach of most other creatures and can be found all over the world. Valstrax are calm when not disturbed, but will turn extremely aggressive if they feel threatened in anyway.

Ahtal-Ka
Ahtal-Ka is a large insect-like monster that resembles a devil's flower mantis in appearance. Male Ahtal-Ka are golden while females are brown in colour but by eating a large number of males, the female Ahtal-Ka can become golden. The more males a female Ahtal-Ka eats, the brighter gold she'll be. Ahtal-Ka is a highly aggressive Neopteron that can be found at the Forlon Citadel.

New Hunter Styles
Two new Hunter Styles make their first appearance in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.

Valor Style
This is an advanced style that grants players a special Valor Stance once the Valor meter is filled.

Alchemy Style
This style equips hunters with a barrel that can be shaken to receive a special item or buff. The Alchemy style also lets players equip 3 Hunter Arts.

New Mode
Also getting its debut in Monster Hunter Generations is Prowler Mode which enables you to play as a Felyne where you gain an eighth type called Beast, which lets you enter 'Beast Mode' and unleash a special attack.
