Think Minecraft

Minecraft Earth is basically a scaled down version of the Minecraft game that is available on various different consoles. In Minecraft Earth you collect resources by tapping stuff in the real world and create the usual creations that you associate with Minecraft on your Buildplate which you are able to take with you wherever your are.

Earn Rewards

Whenever you leave your house in the real world look upon it as an opportunity to earn some rewards in Minecraft Earth. You simply have to check your phone every now and again to see what is nearby.

Find Tappables

Tappables are tappable icons that appear on your map which you tap on as you walk around your neighborhood to give you its corresponding material of mob. There are several rarities to both materials and mobs. Rarities are classified into 4 tiers; common, uncommon, rare, and epic.

Collect Rare Resources

Playing Adventures Mode will give you the opportunity to track down and collect the rare resources you need for a build. In these micro-adventures you will also be able to solve puzzles, get treasure chest rewards like epic and rare mobs, and battle monsters with your friends.

Get Rare or Epic Treasures

Hidden inside the Treasure boxes in Minecraft Earth are rare or epic treasures. To get these treasure boxes though will usually involve having to fight off a group of monsters that are guarding it.

Complete your Daily Challenges

Try to complete the daily challenges you are given each day as doing so will reward you for doing stuff you where probably going to do anyway. You can check the daily challenges each day by going to the second menu option from the right at the bottom of the screen.

Share your Buildplates

In Minecraft Earth Buildplates are where all of the building and creation-focused features are located, they are tiny Minecraft worlds that you are able to build stuff on using AR. Regardless of where you are in the real world you will be able to bring your Buildplates with you and share them with friends and collaborate together on creations.

Unlock New Buildplates

You will earn EXP every time you find a Tappable on your map. Once your EXP reaches a certain point, your level will increase. You will receieve a new Buildplate that will include materials and mobs you can use every 5 levels you go up.

Craft Stronger Weapons and Armour

Just like in regular Minecraft, you can smelt ore to make ingots and craft stronger weapons and armour which you can then use in Adventure mode.

Get Free Rubies

The in-game currency in Minecraft Earth is Rubies and they are are mainly used for buying new builds and speeding up crafting time. If you keep an eye out while you are exploring and gathering resources you will be able to find them and pick them up for free.
