Study Unit Stats

There are over 40 different units to choose from but only eight slots to fill so it is important that you study the stats of each unit to see how they move, attack and work in combination with other troops before you make your selections.

Training Mode

Consider playing Training mode as this is a good way to hone skills and test new armies without incurring any penalties.

Fire First

Due to the energy power-up troop deployment system of battles you need to make sure you target enemy grunts as quick as possible as soon as battles start.

Combine Units

Always try to combine airborne attacks with ground ones and send them down both lanes. A good tactic is to wait for your opponent to launch an attack first and then send your units down the opposite lane while at the same time launching an answer to their attack.

Elite Cards

Although Elite cards are difficult to obtain and cost more to upgrade they are far more worthwhile investing in rather than spending currencies on various common cards which you probably won't use.

Bombs

Bombs can be used as an effective defensive unit as they can be quickly deployed and can wipe masses of infantry and weaken high hit-point tanks.

Free Bucks

You can watch video advertisements in exchange for either more bucks, or for shortening the time needed to unlock crates. It is best to choose bucks if you are given an option as you will need them for when you level up your units. You can watch around five adverts every five or six hours, and for watching the advert you will get between 50-200 bucks. This means it is possible to earn up to a couple of thousand bucks every day.

Hydra

Choose the Hydra when picking your first epic unit, it can destroy the enemy base by itself. It costs 10 gold and it gives you the opportunity to take advantage by sending drones down the other lane for some extra damage.

Claim your Bonus

Make sure you regularly check the Achievements section, there you will see a number next to them which indicates the number of objectives that have been completed by you. Once a certain number has been reached you will be able to claim your bonus.

Join a Clan

Once you reach level three you will be able to join a clan which will enable you to share tactics and troops between members.
