How to Build a Solid Deck

There are over 100 different characters available in Marvel Battle Lines. To put together a solid deck that is limited to just 12 of them will largely depend on the random nature of getting and upgrading them.

Your deck should always ideally consist of 4-5 generic cards, these will be cards that have some kind of boost and don't cost energy to be played. Their primary use early in the game is to collect shards on the board. An example of one of these cards is Maria Hill who boosts the attack stats of nearby allies.

You should have no more than 1-2 Action cards as you don't want this type of card to fill up your hand. It is recommended that you choose destructive cards instead of support or healing ones because when they are cast they can remove an opponent’s card from the battle field and then let you play your own card which gives you a huge advantage over your opponent.

The last type of cards that you need for your deck are those that cost energy to be played. These are powerful cards that have different special attributes which when played at the correct time and place can instantly change the course of a battle.

The other cards that make up your deck should be 1-cost cards which are still powerful especially after upgrading them and easy to play. To begin with have 3 1-cost cards and 3 that cost 2 and above and when you become more adept at the game slowly increase the number of 1-cost cards that you take in battle.

Deck Building Tips:

• Campaign Mode

Play through the Campaign mode as doing so will help familiarise you with the game and also provide you with plenty of cards.

• Action Cards

Make sure you have at least 1 Action card in your deck. These cards are very powerful and can be the key to winning a battle.

• Adjust your Deck

Adjust your deck by playing cards that you have not used in a few battles. You will find that sometimes small changes, even a single card can make a big difference.

• Experiment

Try experimenting with different combinations of cards to see how a lineup performs in battle.
