Coins

When you have built a decent Team you will find it more beneficial to save your coins for the special deals or for Auction House bids where your chances of acquiring rare, or Elite players will be better than Pro Packs.

Speed

The most important attribute a player has is speed so manually fine-tune your lineup after the AI has decided your best lineup to make sure you have your fastest players in the skill positions.

Trenches

Make sure you don't just upgrade the skill positions, games are won and lost in the trenches so make sure you upgrade your offensive and defensive linemen whenever possible as they will improve all facets of your game.

Unwanted Players

Before you get rid of any unwanted players always check to make sure they are not part of a Set. Hang onto them if they are because you can get some awesome rewards for completing Sets.

Play Calling

Call the plays yourself, don't rely on the game's artificial intelligence to do the play calling as it is very basic and does not make full use of the playbook.

Live Events

Live Events are the key to building a strong Team and moving up in the ranks so save your Stamina for them. Season games will always be available to play but the schedule for Live Events rotates daily with many of them only appearing on certain days.

Head-to-Head Games

The best strategy is to play opponents that have a similar overall rating to yours when competing in Head-to-Head matches. You will not lose fans when you decline a Head-to-Head challenge from a Team that is much stronger than yours.

4th Down

Always go for 4th down in Head-to-Head games regardless of your position on the feld, all that matters in multiplayer games is scoring on each drive.
