This games great luigi wins a mansion in a contest he didnt even enter so he calls mario to meet him there he gets there and mario is nowhere to be seen so he quickly starts to search the mansion for mario soon enough he is attacked by ghosts but proffesor e. gadd shows up and fends them off with his pollyguster 3000 and you soon learn mario was kidnapped by boo\'s

so overall 9/10 Challenging game first time around but second time around not so hard since its mainly just having to find the right room most of the time but it more of an adventure not a puzzel games if I made it sound like that

Luigi's mansion Short reviewAdded 26 Jun 2005, ID #4142
This spooky game can give you the creeps! You win a mansion in a contest you don\'t even enter. You tell mario to meet you there but when you arrive he isn\'t there. You job is to battle all the ghosts in the mansion and collect all 50 boo\'s. You have to meet prof. E gadd to get a vacium cleaner and suck up all the ghosts. I give this game 88/100.

A good game for Luigi at last!Added 9 Aug 2004, ID #2338
This has real smooth a great graphics. The missions are easy at first then becomes harder to the end. I just hope Nintendo creates more Luigi adventure games. 7/10

RubbishAdded 3 May 2004, ID #1901
I bought this game thinking :oh yeah this game is bound to be good (because im a mario & luigi freak).

I'll buy this (oooohhhhh its second hand only 10.00) and I brought it home played it and it was absolute rubbish it was the worse game I've ever played for the gamecube.

The gameplay was impossible it was like watching paint dry.graphics:the graphics are actually quite nice.

7/10.sound:the sound was just boring ans dull.

5/10.gameplay:impossible.

2/10. alltogether ill give this a 42% out of 100% not worth buying not worth renting in my opinion.

This was an okay game, I extremely liked its graphics and reality, and I kind of liked the storyline but it was too easy. I beat it in like an hour, its stupid.

If You want a challenging game choose eternal darkness or something.

Yo, I love Luigi's mansion!

My friend has this game, but I don't, but anyway I went to his house and got up to the last boss's level. It is so cool.

Anyway, the boss is this huge ghost and he is scared of you(a good first impression)and your hoover, so he hides in a Bowser suit. When he spits out spiky stuff, use your hoover to suck it in, then blast it at King Boo. The head should fall off revealing King Boo. After you suck down 100 points or so, the head gets faulty and whenever the head flys back on to the body after you attack the ghost, the head lands with the eyes looking at his spiky back. He'll stamp around trying to put it right. I don't know how to dodge it. But, I managed to beat King Boo and when you do, you rescue Mario! Hooray! (I like Luigi better though)

The end is so cool.

Catch ya later!

A very challenging game.

10/10 easily! the story line is great! Not just Mario now this time it's Luigi! Youre equipted with just a vacuum cleaner and a flash light in order to save youre brother Mario?!

It can be quite a scare for 5 to 7 year olds!

This game will spook the pants off you...no really. The terror is non-stop from the start, and it is easily one of the...what, oh, sorry, Luigi's mansion?

I thought I had picked Silent Hill 3...The story is okay, but the cut scenes are quirky, if not brilliantly animated.

The gameplay is actually brilliant, with an intuitive "vaccum cleaner and torch" method, the graphics are a mixture of dark and light textures, with an amazing change when the lights come on.

The graphics are a little blocky though, not nearly pushing your Gamecube to its limits. The sound is fairly good, with effective, if not repetitive, cries from the ghosts. The games main weakness is its brevity.

You will complete it in about 9 hours, if you are an inexperianced gamer. There is also little replayability. The ghosts though, vary wildly, the boss battles are brilliant, if rare, and the game is overall great for quick blasts on a Friday evening.

Graphics 68% (Blocky, but colourful and effective)

Sound 74% (Good shouts, not enough conversation, and effective music)

Gameplay 83% (Inituitive, difficult to master, ghost-catching methods)

Longetivity 53% (Little replayability, short throughout)

Overall 67% (Good, but repetitve and short)
