How to Change the Difficulty

In Lost Judgement, there are a number of different difficulty settings which you can play the game on, and the one that you select will determine how much of a challenge you want to give yourself. This How to Change the Difficulty guide will tell you what you need to know about adjusting the difficulty of the game so that you get the best experience from it.

When you start a new game of Lost Judgement, you will have the choice between four different difficulty levels. These are listed below, along with the type of player best suited for them.

Simple

If you are not familiar with action games like Lost Judgement it is recommended that you begin on this level. Simple level is the easiest mode the game has to offer and features an action assist function to help you.

Easy

This mode is recommended for players that are still trying to get to grips with Lost Judgement. Battles and investigations are easier in this mode.

Normal

This is the standard difficulty setting for the game.

Hard

This difficulty setting is recommended for players who are experienced playing Lost Judgement. In this mode battles and investigations are considerably more difficult.

You can change the difficulty setting of Lost Judgement at any time, the only restriction is that you will not be able to do it during combat. All you need to do is bring up Yagami's phone, go down to the 'Settings' option (the gear app) and click on it. Now go to the 'Game Settings' area and scroll down to 'Difficulty' and change it. Then close the app.

There is also a Legendary difficulty in Lost Judgement, which becomes unlocked when you beat the game on any difficulty. In order for Legendary difficulty to become an option mid-game in Yagami's phone when you change the settings, you need to start a new game, Premium New Game Plus, or Premium Adventure. Be warned that Legendary difficulty is extremely hard, it is recommended that you don't attempt this mode until you become proficient at dodges and parries, as the damage you take from enemies is increased significantly.
