Loot River Cheats and Tips

Two types of currency are absorbed by your characters in Loot River. Gold is the standard currency and can be used to purchase weapons and accessories from merchants within the canals while the other currency which is blue is called Knowledge and this is used to further your game's progression by unlocking tools that will carry over into future runs, this makes it the more valuable of the two currencies used in the game.

It is important to keep in mind that when your character dies in Loot River there is no way to retrieve it, all your currency is permanently lost. It is therefore best to spend as much of it as you can whenever you get the chance to do so. By adding weapons and spells to your inventory you will not only help your current run but also improve your chances in future runs.

If you are struggling to progress early on in Loot River you may need to consider diversifying your playstyle. There are plenty of abilities, weapons, and spells for you to use, and it is recommended that you try as many of them out as possible as there is a good chance you will stumble across something that will enable to get past the roadblock that was giving you trouble.

Resist the temptation to explore the levels and instead try to move through each floor as quickly as you can. The reason for this is the boons that await you as a reward for getting through some of the levels fast.

On the first level of each run, The Sunken Village, you will be awarded a massive amount of Knowledge if you can finish the zone in under 2 minutes. Getting this decent amount of Knowledge early will enable you to unlock weapons, spells, and more which will help you considerably with subsequent levels.
