41-Experimentation is the first moon in Lethal Company and as you would expect it is a manageable level. Even so, it still requires careful navigation and adaptability.
You will inevitably make mistakes progressing through this moon, you need to embrace them as learning opportunities to better understand source management and improve your strategies accordingly for future attempts.
- Survey the Outside
Before venturing into the Facility you should explore the surroundings outside it so you become familiar with the map. Doing this will help you to navigate more effectively, especially if you are met with adverse conditions like fog when you leave the Facility.
- Daylight Awareness
During daylight, you need to make a point of avoiding confrontations with Roaming Locusts, Circuit Bees, and Manticoils. Steering clear of these creatures will allow you to conserve resources and health which is necessary for your survival.
- Nighttime Encounters
It will be dark when you leave the Facility which means you need to be prepared for nocturnal attacks from Earth Leviathan Worm and Eyeless Dog. These threats need to be handled differently so you need to research these monsters beforehand so you know how to deal with them efficiently.

- Entry Points
Make sure you familiarize yourself with the two entry points to the Facility on 41-Experimentation. You will find the main entrance is at the front of the building while the other is on the left wall of the building (via the Fire Exit located at the top of the fire escape stairs). Understanding these access points will aid in planning your approach and escape routes.
- Enemy Ambushes
You must stay vigilant the entire time you are within the Facility as there is always the threat of being ambushed by enemies like Snare Flea, Thumper, Bunker Spider, Hoarding Bug, Bracken, Spore Lizards, Hygrodere, and The Ghost Girl. You also need to keep an eye out for Turrets and Landmines that will be scattered around.
- Resource Gathering
Don't forget the reason you are in the Facility is to collect scrap which you then need to safely transport back to your ship. Remember that efficient resource management is key for progression in Lethal Company.
