Unlocking content in the game can normally be earned as you progress, although they are ultimately achieved in 4 different ways.
First is by taking on missions and unlocking other chapters of the game. There are around 22 chapters in the game, and they are unlocked one chapter at a time (after completing the currently available chapter). Unlocking new chapters will reveal new villains that are primarily needed to fuel your mods, and of course earn you experience. Every chapter also reward you with varieties of items that are mainly used on farms or when upgrading your morph suits.
Second are the technologies to be unlocked. Technology is earned mainly from Company Takeovers in the game. Unlocking technology means earning specific installations and items in the game that will in return, further unlock other contents (that pre-requires them) in the game. Example of this are the specific groups of people that only becomes available upon earning the technology to build a specific installation.
Third are the contents restricted by lottery system – mainly the morph suits in the game. Each of the Morph suits will cost you 500 gold coins, but are only earned through random picks in the lottery. There are numerous types of suits that are classified from the lowest rank E morph suits to the strongest rank S suits, including varieties in their color. All of which are contents to be unlocked in the game.
Fourth are the achievements to be unlocked. Achievements in the game are in many different forms. Mainly, you have the achievements that reward you with coins upon earning them. And then you also have the different lists (found in the menu button when you’re in the town UI) to fulfill and complete as you progress in the game. The more important ones are the compatibility list of installations – that rewards you with passive benefits when they are installed near each other.
