Fields
Fields are where you can sow any seeds you collect (through successfully earned chests in missions), and harvest crops. You can then use these crops and process them to manufacture more complex products that could be sold to your establishments. Otherwise, you may use them to upgrade your Hero Morph Suits.
Besides fields, there are also fish farms and mines – which are a different variety of produce that are used for exactly the same purpose. Once you have created new products to sell (from further processing different produce or combinations of produce), new character groups will be unlocked, enabling them to visit your town – meaning you get the chance to recruit from this group as well.
Buildings
Buildings are where your heroes live, and where you can manufacture products from the materials you gather. Invited friends and customers will go into random places in your town (buildings/establishments) to buy your products. To access the construction menu, tap on the shop button at the lower right of the screen. From the menu that will pop up, pick the "Construct" tab. The installations you'll be able to build are categorized into: Environment, Buildings, Facilities, and Upgrades.
Try and construct buildings with high recovery power. Just pick on any building to see its information prior to actually constructing it. Alternatively, you may choose to level up a building in order to earn higher stat boosts from it. Consequently, that pertaining building's construction fee will also rise upon upgrading it.
About Facilities
Having facilities such as benches and fountains in your town means that every so often, meaty chunks and cash resources will be generated from them(spawn). Tap on any part of the screen (except buttons and buildings) to collect these goodies (note that there is also a limit to the number of meaty chunks you get to carry at a time). Other than this, some facilities give additional stat boosts to your heroes and/or apply benefits to nearby buildings upon achieving proper facility-building combinations
Examples: Electricity spot (Electricity +2) - when a lamp post is placed near another lamp post. Break spot (Fun +5) - when a Bench is placed beside a Vending Machine.
