Legend of Mana (2021) Cheats and Tips

Legend of Mana (2020) is a remastered version of the 1999 action role-playing game. Set in a high fantasy universe the game follows an unnamed hero as they restore the land of Fa'Diel by creating the world around them and completing a number of interrelated quests in order to restore the Tree of Mana. Legend of Mana features a unique 'Land Make' system where you must choose plots of land to organize various locations within the game. The game world is divided into an isometric series of empty square plots of ground from which there are 36 possible in total. Depending on the Artifact (AF) which is placed on the plot, a different Land is generated on it. Each area placed on the map contains at least one quest within it, which upon completion will reward you with a new Artifac. Legend of Mana Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should unlock the Monster Corral, Orchard, and Workshop upgrades before you play New Game Plus and where to place the artifacts to complete the game in one playthrough. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a beginners guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

Choose your Plot Line

Legend of Mana has 68 total 'missions/quests' which the game refers to as Events. There are 3 main plot lines and each of them will bring you to the end. These ae the Gato line which is set in Gato and features Escad, Deanna, and Irwin. The Jumi Line with Elazul and Pearl and mostly involves the city of Geo in some way and the Dragoon line with Larc, which begins in the Underworld. A plot quest will typically have a little symbol appear by the name when the quest first pops up.

Speak to Lil Cactus

Make sure after you have completed a quest you speak to Lil Cactus. This anthropomorphic cactus can be found in a pot upstairs in your home and if you visit him before leaving a quest will write an entry about your last adventure. In order to get complete the diary you need to make sure you speak to Lil Cactus after each improvement at your home, that's the Monster Corral, Orchard, and Workshop upgrades. It is important that you do this as these quests will not happen in New Game Plus as they carry over. Artifact Placement is Crucial

Artifact placement as you progress in Legends of Mana is crucial, as they turn into the locations you visit. It is important to remember that there are three main things that are affected by artifact placement:

- How strong enemies will be in that area.

- The quality of the shops in that area.

- The elemental levels of the location (some Events require Level 3 in an element).

Also keep in mind that the further away from Home an artifact is placed, the higher the levels of enemies and shops. Remember that the Pirate's Hook artifact can only be placed on a water tile, so place your artifacts wisely. Unlock New Game Plus

Legend of Mana has a New game Plus that allows you to replay the game with the same character progression. This feature becomes available once you have beaten the game once. It is important that you make sure Lil Cactus has logged the Workshop, Monster Corral, and Trent Event Diary Entries as you will not be able to do them again in New Game Plus. In New Game Plus there will be a book called The Forbidden Tome in your encyclopedias which you can use to keep the game normal, or switch to Nightmare mode or No Future mode which not only gives enemies higher health and damage, but also unlocks more of their loot tables. New Game Plus carries over everything except Events/Artifacts and certain cosmetic items found around your house like the Crabs from the Pirates Treasure Hunting Events, or Valerie and her baby.
