Influence Points

Influence Points (commonly referred to as IP) are the main form of currency in League of Legends, and they represent the summoner's influence in the League of Legends and they are given as a reward for performance in games.

The amount given per game depends on the outcome of the game and multiple other factors such as the lenght of the game and the game mode the game was played in.The amount of IP gained per match can also be boosted with IP boosts which are purchasable with RP.

There is also a First Win Of The Day bonus which gives the player an extra 150 IP upon their first win of the day (the timer however, resets every 22 hours). Influence points can be used to primarily unlock champions or runes. The player can also choose to unlock more pages for their runebook.
