Jumanji: Epic Run is an endless runner where the main challenge is for you to get as far as possible while scoring as many points as you can. Don't forget you have expert dodges available which, even though risky, once pulled will give you extra Points.
Eventually you will hit an obstacle, miss a jump or a slide which will end your run. Unlike other games that require premium currency to let you keep going, in Jumanji: Epic Run you simply have to watch a video advertisement in order to do so. Take advantage of this, especially if you are close to breaking your record on a good run.
It is essential that you keep an eye out for the power-ups that spawn and make sure you collect them whenever they appear, as they can be very useful. Power-ups include the Gold Doubler which doubles the amount of gold you get for a limited amount of time, the Magnet which draws all the coins around, and the Shield which gives you extra protection.
You are given tasks to complete at the bottom of the screen. Focus on trying to complete as many as possible on each run when they appear. If you manage to complete five in a row you will be given a loot chest as a reward which will contain all sorts of valuable goodies.
You will have to complete the Adventure Map in order to unlock new characters in Jumanji: Epic Run. You need three pieces for each map, and completing it will unlock a new character, as well as a new zone for you to play in.
Each of the playable characters that you unlock in Jumanji: Epic Run will have a special ability, which will become available when you reach a specific score during a run. Level up these abilities with gold whenever you can, so they get better and last longer. Special abilities are tied to the character and not their costume. This means that if you switch to a different costume, the character's special ability will remain upgraded.
