Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

HELP! Granpma is broken!! Every time I try to complete his task of telling stories on the couch, it never works! This has been going on for weeks! The exclamation comes up, I send him to the house, an hour later I press collect and it immediately happens again. I have all the xp to go to level 24 but it has stopped working as we'll. I haven't received the December update either:(. Please help!!

Usually Grandpa and/or Cletus seem to do the same tasks over and over because you don't have enough other quests going on. Once the Christmas Update came out and gave me a few new tasks, the repeating Grandpa tasks stopped. They don't have to be done as they don't have anything to do with a quest once you've done it the first time. I was still assigning him to the couch because it gives you Bonus XP.

Level 24 comes with the Christmas Update. It saves your extra XP and will apply it once the update installs (I was halfway through 24 when I logged in after the update).

The Update is in the AppStore. Go to the store, the Updates tab. It wasn't in the list of things it wanted me to update. Select purchased and it will load a list of everything you have and there should be an update button there.
