Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm at the ray gun part but how am I going to get 150 donuts !! That's a waste if money and I'm not paying actual money for them , is there a way to get free donuts ? Not the homer cheat but any other one

I cleaned up Springfield and took everything but nuclear waste and got 1 donut

The raygun is an optional part of the game. I'm guessing that if you don't get it, the spaceship will stay.

So you can chose to spend Money and do some optional tasks, or play for free and don't do them.

Everyone's Springfield will be different either way.
