When you enter the neighbour's farm, if they have reached a level where they have to complete boat deliveries, you can click on the boat in the water and fill the boxes in with produce from your farm. Around their farm, there will often be red treasure boxes that contain items that you can use or sell in your shop but sometimes they are locked and require Diamonds to open them. Things that you may find in the boxes are diamonds, Coins, shovels, saws and more. If you look at their shop at the front of the farm, you can buy things that they are selling to complete truck deliveries or sell at your farm.

You can also click on any exclamation(!) marks on your neighbors old fruit Trees and Bushes, this also goes towards your green thumb rewards. Hope this helps.
