Power-Ups Guide

Homescapes is a match-3 puzzle game on the iOS and Android.Gameplay is basically swapping two adjacent elements to make a row or column of at least three elements in order to obtain useful power-ups which you can activate by double-tapping them or switching with another element. Check out our Power-Ups Guide to find out what Boosters you can expect to make when you put together certain combinations.

Rocket

The Rocket power-up clears 1 row or column.

How to get: Match 4 in a straight line.

Plane

The Plane power-up clears 4 surrounding spaces, then 1 additional in another area.

How to get: Match 4 in a square

Bomb

The Bomb power-up clears many surrounding spaces.

How get get: Match 5 in a 'T' or 'L' arrangement.

Rainbow Ball

The Rainbow Ball power-up removes all of one type of element.

How to get: Match 5 in a straight line.

Hammer

The Hammer power-up clears the piece from one tile (if used on obstacles, it weakens them).

How to get: This booster is only available to buy while you are playing a level.

Sledgehammer

The Sledgehammer power-up lets you remove one row and one column of elements all at once, or can be used to do considerable damage to obstacles.

How to get: This booster is only available to buy while you are playing a level.

Glove

The Gloves power-up enables you to swap two adjacent pieces without using a move.

How to get: This booster is only available to buy while you are playing a level.

Power-Up Combos

You can also swap power-ups with one another to create powerful combos.

2 Rockets

Clears 1 row and 1 column.

2 Bombs

Clears a large surrounding area on the board.

2 Paper Planes

Clears a few surrounding spaces, then 3 spaces in different areas.

2 Rainbow Balls

Clears entire board,

1 Rainbow Ball + 1 Rocket, Plane, or Bomb

Multiplies the swapped power-up, then all copies of the power-up are activated.

1 Rocket + 1 Bomb

Clears 3 rows and 3 columns.

1 Plane + 1 Rocket or Bomb

Clears 4 surrounding spaces, then activates swapped power-up in another area.
