The name of the Samurai Armor Core in Halo Infinite is Yoroi and this How to get Samurai Armor guide will tell you what you need to do in order to obtain it.
Armor Cores in Halo Infinite act as the foundation of your player character and will have specific armor parts tied to them, exclusive armor parts for the Yoroi Armor Core for example include the Hikeshi helmet and Sabi visor. There are currently three Armor Cores in Halo Infinite, these are the Mark VII, which is the default Armor Core, Mark V, which is obtained in the Heroes of Reach Battle Pass and features cosmetics inspired by Halo: Reach, and Yoroi, which uses cosmetics from the Fractures: Tenrai Event.
To obtain the Samurai-themed Yoroi Armor Core you need to participate in the Fractures: Tenrai Event which premiered from 23rd November 2021 until 30th November 2021. The Tenrai Event is similar to a Battle Pass and to get the Yoroi Armor as a reward you need to complete matches and specific challenges. The Fractures: Tenrai Event will run multiple times throughout Season One and will end in May 2022. Progression carries over between events, so there is no need to rush through 30 levels in the Event Pass.
Listed below are the armor pieces you can earn at each rank of the Event Pass:
Rank 5: Yoroi armor
Rank 10: Gatekeeper (left shoulder)
Rank 15: Gatekeeper (right shoulder)
Rank 25: Yokai helmet
Rank 29: Spring Blossom Filter (Yokai attachment)
Rank 30: Swordsman’s Belt (Yoroi attachment)
Aside from armor pieces, there are also cosmetic items you can earn such as emblems and shaders as well as XP Boosts and Challenge Swaps. The Shop also has a variety of themed items like weapon trinkets and another skin that has a katana on it, though you will need to buy these with real-world money.
