Make sure you constantly pay attention to your radar in Halo Infinite as it enables you to see the locations of nearby enemies. This ability can give you the element of surprise and the advantage of preparing a strategic assault against your foes. Your radar is the best strategic resource you have, so make sure you take advantage of it whenever possible.

Learn How Equipment Works

Equipment works differently in Halo Infinite to previous games in the series. Equipment now functions as a pickup item you can find scattered around the map and has a limited number of uses. There is a wide variety of equipment you can find and each has its own set of benefits, these items include drop shields, threat sensors, active camo, thrusters, repulsors, overshields, and grapple shots. Make sure you try out the equipment you find in order to learn how to use it.

Focus on the Objective

The best strategy for staying alive in Halo Infinite is constant movement, as it makes you a more difficult target for the enemy to hit. Focus on the objective of the mode you are playing and continually move towards it. Camping will not help you in this game, as the action is always moving around the map.

Don't Forget your Scanner

Make sure you frequently use your AI scanner. You can activate this piece of equipment by pressing down on your Xbox controller's D-pad triggers. The scanner will make any weapons that are nearby to you appear in blue and objects that you can interact with such as explosive coils, Spartan cores, and control terminals in yellow. The scanner will also highlight any current missions on your HUD.
