Gunfire Reborn Cheats and Tips

Gunfire Reborn is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, Android, iOS, and PC. Take a look at our cheats and tips to get help in the game.

Gunfire Reborn is a roguelite first-person shooter game where 1-4 players must progress through four zones which each contain a number of levels filled with rooms that need to be cleared one by one before they move to the next. Each level is randomly generated and has a boss at the end that needs to be defeated. Killing enemies will enable you to collect coins and essence which you can then use to purchase weapons, occult scrolls, and level up weapons to make your character more powerful.

Gunfire Reborn Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you shouldn't spend Soul Essence resurrecting yourself and how you can increase your movement speed. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a Beginners Guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

Don't Resurrect Yourself

It is important to remember that your character will die frequently in Gunfire Reborn, even on a lower difficulty. This is because you won't have any of the inherent skills and buffs given through levelling and is part of the game. This means you must resist the temptation to spend your hard-earned Soul Essence resurrecting yourself, so you can continue the fight. It is far more beneficial to accept your fate and return to the main menu and spend what you have accumulated on improving your character.

Choose the Weapon that Best Suits your PlayStyle

There are plenty of different weapons to find in Gunfire Reborn and new players will be unsure as to which are the best ones to pick up. The weapons in this game roll with random modifiers which means some weapons are much stronger than others on a given run. Therefore, it is recommended that you experiment with all the weapon 'types' in order to find the guns that best suit your playstyle.

Investing your Soul Essence in the Talent Tree

Each of the different characters in Gunfire Reborn has their own Talent tree which will contain an array of passive skills that can be unlocked using Soul Essence. There are six different paths you can go down, these are Battle, Survival, Weapons, Skill, Hero and Expedition. The best choice if you are a new player is the Survival path as it will help to keep you alive while you get to grips with the game during hectic gunfights.

Movement Speed is Important

Your movement speed in Gunfire Reborn is important, especially in the later levels when you get attacked by multiple enemies and need to quickly dodge gunfire while engaged in combat. Always keep in mind that the size of your weapon and its type directly correlate to your character's movement. The game always forces you to carry the starter weapon, a Foundry with unlimited ammo, and you should switch to it when you need to gain some movement speed.
