Star Coins: World 9-7
This is our Star Coin guide for World 9-7 in New Super Mario Brothers Wii. 9-7 is available after beating 8-Bowser and 9-7 is open if you got all the Star Coins in World 7. Cowards will tell you to do these 1 at a time but that's for little babies.
Star Coin #1 - The first Star Coin requires a wall jump off the left green pipe to get. Don't take too long on any of these because the ice will melt at the bottom revealing small chomps that will kill you.
Star Coin #2 - You'll see the second Star Coin below some of the small ice blocks. Stand over the 2nd Piranha Plant so it doesn't come up. Now wait for the 2 other Piranha Plants to melt the first section of ice over the Star Coin. Quickly drop down there and get out and move to the right after the 4 plants there fire their first set of Fire.
Star Coin #3 - Immediately head to the right FAST. get the first Fire Bro asap and then the second Fire Bro after he clears the top section of ice over the Star Coin. With both Fire Bros done, you need to wall slide, to wall jump through the Star Coin to get probably the hardest Star Coin in the game.

This is the hardest level for me, but my dad and I somehow got all of the star coins on the first time.
(we already went through on each save slot before.)
Those of you who can't unlock the level, there is a secret exit in the mini castle that opens another level. Once beaten (plus 3 star coins) 9-7 will be unocked!
I'm hopeless at wall jumping, so I just froze the second turtle and threw him onto the 3rd coin which made it so much easier
It won't unlock for me. I have gotten all of the star coins on level 7 how do I get bit unlocked?

I can't get into this level it says to get all the star coins and I did and it's still not letting me can someone help
This level is extremely easy all I had to do was get a propeller shroom
this is so hard how do you do it?
This will take several runs. Need a strategy: Complete a run without picking up any star coins. Then focus on one coin at a time. Start by getting penguin power. Then add star power. Speed run as far as you can. Then freeze everything in the way with 1 exception. Freeze the last spiky ball before the stairs. Pick it up. Go up the stairs and jump over the ??. Use it to kill the venus flytraps. Then get to the last 2 ice cubes before the first turtle. At the right time jump on the turtle. Jump on the highest ice cube and then on the 2nd turtle. Next stop is the flag. Complete the run. Now get penguin power and star power then hit save. You are now setup to get each star coin. It's easiest to get 1 star coin at a time then focus on completing the run and hitting save. Second coin trick is to kill the flytraps with the frozen spikyball as above and comeback. Stand just to the right of the second flytrap. Let the 3rd flytrap melt the cubes drop down ad pick up the 2nd coin. 3rd coin g luck!

It's so hard to get the third star coin, try a propeller suit.
