-- Bombs and Bomb Crafting --

To possess and use bombs in the game you must first obtain a Bomb Pouch, a container that you wear on your belt that can hold a set number of bombs.  The containers that you can obtain are the Small Bomb Pouch (Sequence 02, Memory 06) which holds 3 Bombs, or the Medium Bomb Pouch (Complete all Bomb Challenges), which adds 1 for a total of 4 Bombs.  There is supposed to be a Large Bomb Pouch in the game, but it was a game pre-order reward and does not appear to be obtainable in the game itself.

Bombs are crafted using the crafting tables at the Assassin HQ, in Assassin Dens, and at other locations.  There are three basic Bomb Types: Lethal, Tactical, and Diversion, which do what they sound like, the Lethal kill, the Tactical stun or injur, and the Diversion are meant to distract your enemy.

Depending upon the primary ingredients each bomb has a slightly different effect, with the following primary ingredients making the specified bomb (Type):

Arabic Gunpowder -- 3-Meter Blast Radius
British Gunpowder -- 4-Meter Blast Radius
Caltrop --  Caltrop Bomb (Tactical) -- Halt enemy movement
Coal Dust --  Thunder Bomb (Lethal) -- Concussive Damage
Datura --  Datura Bomb (Lethal) -- Poison Enemy
Fuse Shell --  Rebounds off surfaces, 3-Second Timer

Shrapnel --  Splinter Bomb (Lethal) -- Kill or Injure
Skunk Oil --  Stink Bomb (Diversion) -- Disperse Enemy
Sticky Pouch -- Sticks to enemies or surfaces, 5-second fuse.
Sulfur --  Cherry Bomb (Diversion) -- Noise Distraction
Trip Wire -- Detonates on enemy proximity
