Sequence 04, Memory 05 -- Galata Tower

When we did the mission where we wore the musicians uniforms the game removed the Master Assassin Armor from us so if you have yet to do so, it would be an idea to use the tunnels to return to the Assassin HQ in Galata and put that back on by interacting with it in the trophy room.  This is convenient because we have to return to Galata anyway, as that is where this memory starts -- at the Tower of Galata.

Climb all the way to the top of the tower to the marker and use your Hidden Blade to open the door there -- remember that there are three hidden chests here we need to grab as well as the story stuff -- and you get a brief CS of you entering the Tower.  A clue that was left behind by Polo brought us here -- but to get 100% Synchronization we need to complete the level in under 6 minutes!

Looting all of the Hidden Chests in Galata Tower

As you work your way down the stairs you come to a point where you need to jump on a platform but it collapses, causing you to fall.  You end up sliding down a chute -- try not to hit the rocks -- until you are all by your lonesome up high when you snag an old beam with your Hook Blade.

Basically to get 100% you are going to have to complete this mission two times -- simply because the time it takes you in getting the treasure chests will almost always cause you to fail to make it in time.  So the first time through you should concentrate upon getting the treasure chests (watch the video as it shows where they are).  The second time through you are going for speed, and since you do not need to get the chests, you should make it with seconds left on the clock!

-- The Tower Route for 100% Synchronization --

You only have six minutes to make it through here so you need to pre-read these instructions and then try to follow them to the letter...  Luckily there are really only a few confusing locations and there is plenty of time for you to make four or five mistakes as long as they are not major -- I made a few in the video as you will see...  One thing you need to remember -- both times that you do the jump towards a light fixture they are LONG Jumps, not regular ones.

So to start out, you run down the stairs and jump onto the platform -- it collapses and you fall, slide down a slope trying to avoid hitting the rocks, and eventually catching hold of a protruding beam structure.  You want to immediately climb up on to it and then around back of it and up to the top, hook-jump to the broken platform section above it, and then jump to the arch and work your way to the right, and then jump to the platform to the right of the arch.

Immediately slide down the zipline and then drop down to the level below and got through the tunnel.  Run to the end and immediately turn left in the chamber and run and jump up the boxes and scaffold, long-jump to the other side and then climb up and around the wall to the right and jump to the beams, crossing the broken bridge and then using the zipline on the other side to slide down.

Completing Galata Tower with 100% Synchronization

Run straight and then jump onto the side of the water wheel, move around left to the center, and then jump left to the platform suspended in the air.  From the platform, jump onto the wall and climb then shimmy right to the other side and hop over the beams to the platform below, immediately jumping to the far wall and climbing.

100% Synchronization for Galata Tower

Run straight ahead when you reach the top and climb the far wall, use the zipline, skip across the beams, and use the next zipline, sliding through the waterfall and then running along the walkway and jumping to the wall.  Climb the wall, run towards the far wall, climb that all the way to the top platform, and then jump to the scaffold and get a CS of it collapsing.

You catch a beam -- immediately swing and jump to the next platform and then use the zipline and run to the end of the walkway to do a Leap of Faith into the water below.  Climb out onto the walkway and head right making the next long-jump and following the path over the dilapidated bridge.  Climb the far wall at the end of that and jump across to the platform suspended in the air and from that to the next walkway.

Run and jump catching the far wall then shimmy around to the right and up continuing to climb through three separate sections until you reach the top, where you will shimmy all the way left then climb.  Take the zipline and then hop over the beams to the next platform, where you will take a second zipline and then drop onto a partially collapsing platform.  Use the zipline here and it will fail 3/4 of the way across, giving you a CS of the fall.

Quickly climb up and run into the passageway, turn on Eagle Vision and target the hidden door on the right wall.  Use it and then you get a CS of locating the status.  Immediately run to the statue and use it to end the mission.

As the video shows you can make several serious errors and still get this in the 6 allotted minutes.
