Check out our Garena Free Fire Walkthrough and Guide to get help in the game.
Landing on the Island
At the start of the game you will not have a weapon to defend yourself so it is advised that you choose a location on the map to land that is somewhere that only has a few buildings so you can find a weapon without too much fear of being attacked and have time to get your bearings. Avoid starting off in built up areas as these will attract the majority of players and without a weapon you are under pressure to find a weapon the instant your boots hit the ground.
Use the Map
Make sure you regularly check the map in the top left, this can be easily done by tapping on it to zoom in. The map will show you where safe zones, opponents, and danger zones are and will help you decide what to do next in Garena Free Fall.
Equipping a Weapon
Make sure that the weapon you equip best suits your play style. If you prefer close combat you will want to grab a shotgun or assault rifle, whereas if you are more of a silent killer who strikes from range then the sniper rifle is the best choice.
Avoid Fire Fights
The objective of Garena Free Fire is to be the last player alive. Getting yourself into unnecessary fire fights will likely lead to you being picked off so to increase your chances of survival try to avoid engaging other players and only open fire when absolutely necessary or when you are sure you can secure the kill.
Keep Moving
Make sure you are constantly moving, espeically if you are out in the open as a stationery target will be easily picked off. To help prevent this from happening always try to be near cover which you can quickly retreat to in the event you enounter another player. Keep an eye out for vehicles when you first land as these are useful for quickly getting around the map.
Don't Make a Noise
All sounds, including shots, steps, jumps or falls, as well as the noise accompanying moving around with vehicles, are audible to nearby players and can give away your position. Wearing headphones while playing Garena Free Fire will help you get valuable audible hints.
Always Collect Medkits and Mushrooms
Unless the capacity of your backpack is full you should always collect the Medkits you come across as they will come in useful if your character sustains damage. This also applies to mushrooms where the EP points they yield will be able to passively replenish small amounts of your health points.
