How to solve the Spinning Towers of Power Puzzle

Early on in the Mermalair stage you will encounter this puzzle which you will need to play as Patrick to solve. After talking to Barnacle Boy, head to the right to go to the center of several towers. There you will find a Throw Fruit and a button on each tower. If you throw a Throw Fruit at one of the buttons, that tower will turn around, but the towers either side of it will also turn. Your objective is to find a way to make all the power towers face inwards. The way to do this is to stand in the middle of the buttons, and choose one to be your first button. From this switch, count three to either the left or the right, then hit that button. Then, count three again in the same direction, and hit that button. Keep repeating this process. You will find that after rotating through the circle a couple of times all the towers will become activated and you will have solved the puzzle.
