You don't ram a tree to start playing hide and seek, you talk to the teacher of the school until you can say, we need to talk.

Say we need to talk and then you can start playing hide and seek with the killer bees( the group of four kids ).

Accept thier challenge. One is hiding in a tree( need to ram the tree to get him down ), another is biehind the headstone that the dancing guy is next to.

Another is behind the bomb shop( use the secret entrance you did back when the pirates invaded the bomb shop ) the last one is beihind a bush some where.

Firstly, you don't ram into a tree to start playing hide and seek.

You have to talk to the teacher who you give the joy pendents to. She'll ask you to try and keep the kids out of trouble.

After this talk to the kids and they'll challenge you to a game of hide and seek.
Here are their hiding places:

1. Behind the gravestone in front of the elvis look-alike,
2. Behind the bomb shop,
3. Through the archway left of the teacher's place and behind the bush to the left.
4. In the tree where Mila's father is standing.

P.S. Sorry to dissapoint you but this doesn't lead to a triforce piece, just a heart piece.

Prince_Of_Darkness answered:

Actually it does get you a triforce chart, because you need to do this to get the cabana deed.

Keyblade21 answered:

You need to go talk to the kids in the town first, then talk to the teacher, then the kids will play hide and seek. After that just go around the town and find them all. The tree that you ram is the big one in front of the town.
