Just keep playing - you can't help him directly, he will get the job on his own as you progress in the game.

Cancel that - I just remembered that you have to get 25 in the Letter Sorting game for him to get the job...

Clear the 25 letter limit in the post-sorting sidequest and the guy (Koboli) who works in the post-office will tell you that their new employe� (Baito) will soon be ready for work. Baito will then find his way up by himself.

All right there is this little side quest on dragon roost island, go to the guy or bird I should say that is sorting the mail talk to him and he will give you a job. Try to get 25 letters sorted before time runs out it may take you a couple tries but you will get it.
