The Butterfly/Joy Pendants are for Miss Marie of Windfall Island.

Miss Marie will give you stuff/rewards depending on how many Pendants you have and give to her.

These rewards include rupees, a Cabanda Deed to her cottage and a Hero's Charm that, when worn, can show you how much health an enemy has (left).

When you have 61, visit the techer on Windfall Island. show her the the pendants by equiping them to X, Y, or Z and press the button in front of her. She will take one the first time, 20 the second time and gives you the cabana deed, third time is 40 and give you the Hero's Charm, which allows you to see how much health enemies have left!

Here's what to do:
Get 20 of them
Go to Miss Marie (teacher on windfall Island)
Give them to her now she'll give you a deed to a cabana on an Island called private oasis (now links oasis).

Give the Butterfly pentants to the teacher, the Killer Bees will tell you too, in result you will get the deed for the Cabana, which is a needed part of the game, you cannot beat it without the deed.
