Question for Pokemon Colosseum

In user submitted cheats for this game there is a cheat that says that you can get you're shadow poke'mon's heart guage down to nothing.

It says go to agate village then go right untill the screen jiggles, then unplug the controller then hold up on the controller then plug it back in. Then it says something like you should be walking up and the screen sould be jiggleing.

Well this cheat is on user submitted cheats for poke'mon collosuem and I tried it and it DOSEN'T work. Can anyone tell me these things:

1. Why dosen't this cheat work?
2. Is there something i'm doing wrong?
3. What is the fastest way to purify you're pokemon?
4.Where is a place that I can go to fight to purify my poke'mon?
5. Where can I get more rare candys?
6. At the begenig of the game why is umbreon is at a higher level then espeon, souldn't they be the same level?
7. What are some places to train my poke'mon?

Please answer these questions. Whoever does are my best friends.

Why dosen't this cheat work? Well I think the user typed it in wrong. Um, I think I know what they are talking about... But I don't know if I can explain it.
You see there is a glitch in the game. You walk in to a certain corner and the screen starts shaking. Most things you walk in to the guy stops. With this he just keeps walking without going anywhere.
I have had it happen. It is too complicated to explain much further.

No. I think it was the user that made that too hard for you.
What is the fastest way to purify you're pokemon? Walking and battling.
Battling and calling it in battle when it is in hyper mode. Works great.
Where is a place that I can go to fight to purify my pokemon?
Well it is in Agate Village. Go from where the Pokemon center is.
You go down a little hill. It is tough to see. It is right by the Pokemon center.
There is a cave there. There is a guy there.. Depending on where you are at in the game he may or may not let you in. Let me know where you are at as for as progress and I can answer for you.
Where can I get more rare candys? I am sorry to say... You can't buy them.
You just have to luck out and find them.
At the begenig of the game why is umbreon is at a higher level then espeon, souldn't they be the same level? Well... I really can't say why Umbreon is higher than Espeon. That has always bugged me. Cant answer that one for ya.
What are some places to train my pokemon? Well depending on where you are at there is mount battle. If that is not available then train in Pyrite Town.
There is a battle ring there. You can fight them over and over.
Once you battle one of them, if you want to battle that trainer again just go in the hotel and back out. Poof! They will be ready to battle again!

Let me explain it step by step.
1.Get a team full of shadows
2.Go to Agate Vilage
3.Go to the slope where you first enter the village and find that place in the grass that looks like a "V"
4.Go to the v and unplug your controller
5.Hold up on your controle stick and plug your controller back in(your character should be moving down by itself and your screen should be jiggling)
6.Leave your gamecube on all night or while you're at school
7.When you get back to the game, unplug your controller and plug it back in.DO NOT HOLD UP!!!
8.Go to the shrine and purify your pokemon.
Sorry, no info on rare candies.But umbrion will always be stronger than espeon at the begining of the game.Don't know why.
