Question for Pokemon Sapphire

Can you trade from crystal/silver to Sapphire?

And can you trade with leaf green to Sapphire?

Thats my question.

Crystal/Silver > Sapphire = No.
Leaf Green > Sapphire = Yes.

In LG, you need the National Pok�Dex. In Sapphire, I think you need to have to beat the league. Also in LG you need to get the Ruby and Sapphire plates.

Unfortunately, you cannot trade between crystal/silver to sapphire, but you can trade between leaf and sapphire.

Basically you can only trade between games belonging to the same generation of handheld console. blue-red-yellow can trade with only each other.
Silver-gold-crystal can only trade with each other.
Ruby-sapphire-emerald-leafgreen-firered can only trade with each other.

The only breaks to this trade rule are trading between handheld/tabletop console
I.e.- Pokemon sapphire to Pokemon colosseum/xd etc...
The only other break to the generation rule is migrating from sapphire/ruby/emerald/leafgreen/firered to diamond/pearl. But that's not trading anyway, as it's only one direction. You don't swap pokemon.
And in the occurrence of using Pokemon channel to migrate Jirachi to your ruby/sapphire.

this reply is false. you can trade between silver and red, not silver and sapphire though. all GBC pokemon can be traded between one another.

Yes you can trade from silver to sapphire and yes you can trade from leaf green to sapphire.
