Missingno! HAHA! What you caught my friend is a shiny pokemon. They are very rare and aren't normally their regular colors. Tentacool has to be traded into Pokemon Collesum for it's shiny form to be revealed.

I was confused at my first shiny also, but I knew after like one second because Zigzagoons were not red and golbats were not black, and Tentacool don't have green spots on their heads.
