Question for Pokemon Sapphire

I have a gameshark sp and it says that I have to enter 12 digits for a code and most of the codes I see have two sets of 8 digits.

Is there a way I can enter these into my gameshark.

Codes in 8 digit intervals are for action replay and cannot be put into a gameshark
