All right... When I go professor birch he always says you have not caught enough pokemon to make it worthwile. I have got about sixty two pokemon. Is there any way to stop it?

The thing is you are doing something wrong. When you talk to him just keep hitting a instead of b.
Ignore those two people up there. Catch more Pokemon and he will say something diiferent until you have a number of pokemon in the 70's.
