Question for Pokemon Sapphire

I keep trying to beat the master beauty contest with my Swampert but I lose all the time I need tips or anything that will help thanks.

P.S. Here is his stats, he has:
Ice Beam
Dive
Surf
and Waterfall

Use dive then surf it's a great combo!! : )

Ice Beam: Use if in last position and if an appealer is likely to make a Beauty appeal.

Dive: Use in front to avoid being startled. Use Surf on the next turn to complete a combo.

Surf: Use if appeal in front didn't accomplish much. Use Dive on the next turn to complete a combo.

Waterfall: Use if you're way behind in appeal value and are in last position

Make dry pokeblocks with dry berries. A little girl in the bottom-left-hand corner of the Slateport Contest Hall will give you a pokeblock case. to make pokeblocks use the berry blender.
