Question for Pokemon Sapphire

I need a good team for beating the phychic gym in mossdeep. If I started with a treeko what would be a good team?

If you started with treeko the best team would be.

Sceptile.

If you started with treecko just catch any ice or water type pokemon (I prefer pelipper) and teach it ice beam surf and two other water or ice moves. Teach your Sceptile leaf blade solar beam dragon claw and ant other move. Catch another water pokemon like gyarados and teach it waterfall surf hydro pump and dragon rage. Be careful with your sceptile because solrock knows flamethrower and sunny day.
