1) You can't.

2) The best grass would be breloom.

3) The best fire (groudon is a ground type by the way) would be either magcargo or ninetales.

4) The best water would be wailord.

5) The best psychic would be latios or latias.( mew and mewtwo are not in the game. I guess you never played it yet)

6) The best bug would be volbeat or illumise.

7) The best normal would be linoone.

8) The best electric would be raichu.

9)The best dragon would be latias or latios.

10) The best poison would be seviper or tentacruel.

darkboarder_77 answered:

1. I don't know.

2. Hmmm... possibly Celebi or Tropius.

3. (Groudon is not a Fire Type, it's a Ground Type.) I'm not sure... Charizard, maybe?

4. Swampert. No exeptions.

5. Either Latios, Lugia, Jirachi, or Deoxys (I don't know what the stats are for Jirachi and Deoxys, but I presume they are similar to to Mew's and Celebi's.)

6. I can't really remember the toughest one, but I will stick with Beautifly.

7. Maybe Snorlax, but I still think there is a tougher one.

8. Zapdos.

9. Salamence or Dragonite. Consider Latios, too.

10. I don't know... Dustox?

Cross Stinger answered:

For cloning, you can't do it.

But you can do some reading on my takes for the specified types:

1. The best of the Grass family is tied between Tropius and Vileplume. Tropius is blessed with the ability to fly, and Vileplume can provide a very good defense, much fitting for its appearance.

2. For fire, I would consider Camerupt, as it has a good sense of defense and it can learn Earthquake and Fissure as well as Fire-type moves.

3. The water category has to go to Walrein. It has a good Special Defense and has a good sense of battle skills altogether, a better candidate than Kyogre in that it actually knows how to defend itself.

4. The psychic category goes to Medicham, as it has a good sense of offense and defense better than most others.

5. Bug goes to Pinsir, as it can learn Guillotine and incorporates great offense, as well as Heracross for learning Megahorn.

6. Try Girafarig on for size in Normal.

7. Raichu, as far as I see, is the best you can get for power in Electric, but its defenses leave a lot to be desired.

8. For dragons, try the Salamence out. It learns a good array of moves, but like Rayquaza, its defensive powers are abysmal.

9. I'll wager Crobat for its gift of flight.

Ryan A. answered:

1. No

2. Bellosom

3. Camperupt or Macargo

4. Wailord

5. Alakazam

6. Pinser

7. Castform or Keckleon

8. Raichu

9. Kingdra

10. Muk or Crobat

xebecer1913 answered:

I doubt it.

I'd guess the best grass Pokemon is probably Cacturne, since it is part dark.

I think the best fire type is Ninetails, as it can't be quadruple-damage attacked.

I'd say Starmie, since its psychic type permits it to learn a four move combo that can do normal or super-effective moves on all but two of the Pokemon in any of the first three game sets (red-blue-yellow, gold-silver-crystal, and ruby-sapphire) and maybe some in Fire Red and Leaf Green.

Probably metagross or Jirachi, as they're both part steel which permits a wider range of moves
a good bug type is Armaldo, since it can learn a huge array of moves.

Most likely Castform or Keckleon, since both can learn fairly good moves and change their type, although this ability can, if misused, be bad for you as well

I'd say Magneton, a part steel type and one of the only two Pokemon that can escape the aforementioned move combo

Almost definetly Latias or Latios, for the same reason as starmie (and they're better than Raquaza when taught good moves and trained well, since they don't take increased power hits from certain move types and can still dodge ground assualts)

Maybe Crobat or Seviper are a bit better, but they're all about the same.

There is no best type pokemon. It just all depends on how you raise your pokemon.

I hope this helps.
