Question for Pokemon Sapphire

I'm curious about two things.
1. Why is chimecho seperated from other Pokemon on cheatcode lists and put at the end, and where do you get it without cheats.Ive heard it's somewhere in Mt. Pyre, but where?
2. What's mirage island? I've heard of it a few times, but I'm not sure what it is.

1. Chimeco is in the feild areas.

2. To get to Mirage Island there is a guy in Pacifidlog City and he will tell you if he can see it today or not. When he does, and he doesn't very often, go towards the direction he's facing. It will be 2 routes away. On that Island are a bunch of Wynauts from level 5-45. Also there is a berry tree. I got a Liechi Berry.

1. I don't know why Chimecho is always at the bottom, it shouldn't be. Chimecho is rare, so yuo have to search really hard.

2. Mirage Islnad is an Island that appears depending on what Pokemon you have. It rarely appears.

1.People can do strange things sometimes. It's in the patches of grass at the very top of the mountain on the left and/ or right side of the orbs.
2.It's an island that apperas once in a blue moon. You can get rare berries on the sland and catch wynauts there too.
