In some secret bases (mostly the tree bases) there are these holes in the ground and I can't get past them?

After you beat the Pokemon league watch for the T.V. Ad for the sale on the Dept. Store roof (Lilycoves store) Then go to the roof and buy a solid board (or what ever board it is called) And place it over the hole.

Watch for clearouts at the Lilycove Department Store and buy Solid Boards from the vendor at the top floor.
