When you get Mystery Gift it doesn't work and my friend is with me he has mystery gift and a link cable but it doesn't work so I am asking you to give me ideas to make it work?

It only worked on Gold/Silver because on the GBC there was a infra red beam which you could beam gifts through.
Unfortunalty Nintendo did not put a infa red beam in the GBA so you can't do it via GBA.
Actually, I think that you have to have four people attached to a four-way link cable to make it work.
