When two pokemon can't breed, the day-care man says 'They seem to play with other Pokemon'.
When they can he says 'They seem to get along'. Sometimes he says when they can, 'They don't seem to like each other'.
How come sometimes they get along and sometimes they don't?

If you treat your Pokemon badly and if you let it faint in battle a lot, then that Pokemon most likely will not breed.
This is probably the reason why you can't get two Pokemon to breed with each other.
Also, if you are using two males for breeding or if you are using Legendary Pokemon for this reason, then you can't get them to breed.
P.S. What in the world are Bad Eggs?
