Question for Pokemon FireRed

Dumb question, but after you beat the Elite 4 how do you get back to island 1? I am clueless.

Go to the sailor in Vermillion City.

You have to go back to Vermilion City and go to where the sailors are the he tells you " Oh you have a rainbow pass what island would you like to go to?" The you just choose an island!
