A fighting Pok�mon will do you well... Fighting will beat out Lorelli and fare a bit with Bruno. Having an Ice Type or a good Ice move with you will help with Lance and with Agatha. Lastly, your Rival, who's team depends on your Starter.
So basiclly, to sum this up for you:
Lorelli > Fighting or Fire types work best.
Bruno > Flying and Psychic types work best.
Agatha > Ghost and Psychic types work best.
Lance > Ice types work best.
Rival > All depends on your Starter. Bug, Water and Psychic types work best.

Grass
Fighting(not neccery...a fighting type move perhaps)
Psychic
Ice and Water
Fire can be usefull...

Lorelli electric,fire,grass
Bruno water,grass,ice,psychic,steel,ground,fighting
Agatha psychic,ghost,dark
Lance ice,dragon,electric,rock
Rival a mixture because he nearly has every type
